Bill Rice (1906-1908)
While Washington's Fred Rice became an early star of the Hoya five in the early 1900's, it was New York's Bill Rice that was one of the founding members of the team.
A three year member and captain of the Georgetown crew, Rice played in two seasons for the basketball team before earning his law degree in 1908. Following studies at Georgetown, he served as an attorney in New York for many years.
