Qudus Wahab (2019-2021, 2022-2023)

A 6-11 center from Nigeria by way of Flint Hill School in Northern Virginia, Qudus Wahab played two years at Georgetown, a backup to Omer Yurtseven in 2019-20 and the starter in 2020-21, where he was second on the Hoyas in scoring at 12.7 points per game in 2020-21 and led the team in rebounds with an average of 8.2. He scored a career high 20 and tied his career high with 12 rebounds in the team's first round NCAA loss to Colorado.

Widely expected to be the top returning big man in the Big East conference, head coach Patrick Ewing paid Wahab a high compliment when he said that Wahab could be the best center in school history by his fourth year, and a fellow Big East coach remarked that Wahab "could be the best big in the country a year from now." Instead, Wahab entered the transfer portal at season's end and announced a commitment to Maryland a week later.

The 2021-22 season was a protracted disappointment for Wahab and for Maryland. After an opening two games where Wahab scored a combined 35 points and 21 rebounds, he settled into a run of ineffective play, averaging 7.7 points per game over the season and 6.7 points in Big Ten play. Wahab, who started 31 of 32 games, ended the season with just 23 points in his final five games of the season for the Terrapins, who finished 15-17 under interim coach Danny Manning.

Wahab entered the transfer portal nine days after Kevin Willard was hired at Maryland on March 22 and returned to Georgetown on May 24, becoming only the second Georgetown player to return to the team following a transfer. His third season at Georgetown was much like his run at Maryland, averaging 9.6 points a game and failing to establish a consistent post presence. Wahab was replaced by Bradley Ezewiro in the starting lineup for the final seven games of the season.

Following the season, Wahab announced he would enter the NBA draft but maintain his remaining year of college eligibility. Two days later, he entered his name in the transfer portal as a grad transfer following the completion of his undergraduate studies.
