Maurice Nee (1936-1937)
A three year football letterman, senior Maurice Nee played briefly in the opener to the 1936-37 basketball season, and saw no time thereafter.
A Washington native, Nee graduated from Georgetown in 1938, managed his family's successful furniture business, the P.J. Nee Company, and was among the original ownership group of the Baltimore Colts in 1947. He was named to Sports Illustrated's Silver Anniversary All-America Team in 1962, a recognition of players from the 1937 football season who had gone on to great success in corporate life.
At the time of his death in 1964, Nee served as treasurer of the Texaco Corporation.
