Mike Geoghegan (1970-1972)
"Mike Geoghegan has definite ability," wrote The HOYA in 1970, "but is in the unfortunate position of having to play behind star forwards [Mike] Laughna and [Art] White."
The Ohio native spent two years on the varsity as a backup to the aforementioned teammates, seeing action in just 23 games over two seasons. Shooting just 30 percent from the field as a junior, he did not return to the team as a senior, graduating in 1973.
Geoghegan earned an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, later serving as the former chief financial officer for Broward County, Florida and as the current president of Eastern Gateway Community College in Ohio.
