Langston Love (2025-2026)
Once identified as Georgetown's most impactful arrival from the 2025-26 transfer portal, Langston Love's single season with the Hoyas was cut short by recurring injury.
Ranked 28th in the ESPN class of 2021, Love played three seasons at Baylor before transferring to Georgetown in April 2025. Parts of his career at Baylor were also limited by injury, with an ACL tear as in 2021-22, an eye injury late in the 2022-23 season and an ankle injury in 2023-24.
Prior to the season, an undisclosed injury held him out of the Hoyas' summer trip to Canada, while a hamstring injury sidelined him in the team's two exhibition games in October. Battling numerous lower body injuries, Love only garnered one start and averaged 12 minutes per game, most in deep reserve. His three point shooting, considered his specialty, failed to materialize, with just eight threes and a 26 percent shooting average.
Love's four points in the season finale versus Connecticut were his only points since January 13.
