John Egan (1923-1924)
A walk-on to the 1923-24 team, John Egan played in three games and helped provide stability to a team which had been buffeted by graduation and attrition that season. A pre-med, Egan earned his degree from the College in 1927 and his medical degree in 1931, not to return to the team.
Following Georgetown, Dr. Egan practiced medicine in the Gloucester, MA area until his death and served on many regional medical boards.
