Joe Daly (1945-1946)
A member of the first post-war team at Georgetown in 1945, Joe Daly saw action in three games that season.
His 2017 obituary read, in part: "Educated at Fordham Preparatory School, he completed his undergraduate degree in three years at Georgetown University, where he played basketball and sang in the Georgetown Chimes. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in 1951.
"Following Dr. Daly's military service in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where he was stationed in France and Germany, he practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Lockport Memorial Hospital in Lockport, N.Y., until his retirement in 1993."
