Frank Alagia (1947-1950)
Frank Alagia played high school basketball at New York's Andrew Jackson HS from 1941-44 before wartime military service, arriving at Georgetown in the fall of 1946. A two sport star in basketball and baseball, Alagia worked in the brokerage industry for more than 20 years before retiring to South Florida.
Alagia died in 2007. His son Frank Jr. was a standout basketball player at St. John's, winning the 1976 Frances P. Naismith Award for the nation's top college player under six feet tall.
