Ed Kurtyka (1936-1939)
A three year starter on Georgetown teams from 1936 to 1939, Ed Kurtyka never led the team in scoring but was a mainstay in the lineup, scoring in 52 of his 55 games for the Blue and Gray.
Kurtyka had six double figure scoring games during his years at Georgetown, with a career high 15 points versus Pitt as the 1938-39 Hoyas tied for the Eastern Intercollegiate conference title, its only regular season title prior to joining the Big East.
