A three year letterman on the Georgetown baseball team, Ed Gallaher saw action in just two games as a sophomore before returning to the baseball team that spring.

Following Georgetown, Gallaher served for 35 years in the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserve. He also worked within the Department of Defense in he Office of Naval Intelligence.
