Danny Supkis (1949-1952)
Despite a height of 6-7, Danny Supkis played sparingly over three seasons at Georgetown, but was rewarded for his leadership by being selected captain for the 1951-52 team. A chemistry major at Georgetown, Supkis played in the first three games of his senior season but none thereafter; it is not known whether injury or team needs sat him for the remainder of that season.
Following Georgetown, Supkis became a engineer within NASA, serving in the Manned Operations Center and authoring a number of papers and studies on the issue of fire retardation in space technology.
