Don Grochowski (1953-1954)
A pre-med and a star in the intramural ranks, Dan Grochowski was called up to the varsity following a number of academic suspensions at mid-season in 1954. Grochowski (sometimes spelled as "Grohoski" in contemporary accounts) played in seven games that season.
Following military service, Grochowski returned to Georgetown to pursue a degree in dentistry. A retired colonel in the Air Force, he practiced dentistry in the Phoenix area for 37 years until his death in 2000.
