Drew Fielder (2023-)
One of the nation's top 20 center prospects in the class of 2023, 6-10 Drew Fielder had verbally committed to Providence College but withdrew his commitment following Ed Cooley's move to Georgetown.
"I chose Georgetown because of my relationship with Coach Cooley, Fielder said. "I really trust what he's saying and I really believe that he believes in me."
A center in high school, Fielder spend much of his freshman season in a learning mode. Averaging the fewest minutes per game of any of the regular members of the rotation, Fielder's progress was slow at times but noticeable: a key rebound here, a drive to the basket there. He led the team with a 40 percent three point average and was second on the team in blocked shots.
Drew Fielder is a current member of the 2024-25 varsity. A full profile follows upon his graduation.
