Bryson Mozone (2022-2023)
An unranked high school recruit, Bryson Mozone played four seasons at USC-Upstate before selecting a grad transfer season at Georgetown.
Mozone averaged 5.1 points as a freshman but steadily improved in each of his four seasons at the Spartanburg, SC school, starting in 51 games over a 105 game college career. Mozone averaged 15.3 points and 4.3 rebounds and earned second team all-Big South honors. His 29 points in the season finale versus South Alabama was a career high.
Widely seen as the successor from three point range to the departed Kaiden Rice, Mozone was a serviceable shooter but did not get the volume of attempts to be an effective ouside threat for the 2022-23 Hoyas. From a season high of 20 in the opener versus Coppin State, Mozone started four of the first six games of the season before being relegated to reserve duty, averaging 18 minutes per game thereafter.
