Bill Connors (1931-1934)
Described as a "tall, lanky center", Bill Connors was a three year starter for the Hoyas of the early 1930's while in law school. He is one of the last law students to have played at Georgetown following admissions changes that required a baccalaureate degree to gain admission into the program, thus expiring the eligibility of players before they arrived at the school.
Following graduation, Connors earned one of the first graduate degrees offered through the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, now under the University of Pennsylvania. He served in a number of executive banking roles, including president of the Marine Midland Bank in Troy, NY and various regional financial holding companies.
