Victor Samnick (1999-2003)

A versatile defender over four seasons from 1999 through 2003, Victor Samnick joined the Hoyas from the Cameroon, and and was recruited from the now defunct Newport Prep in Kensington, MD, having averaged 15 points and nine rebounds a game.

Known primarily as a reserve forward, Samnick started 26 games over two seasons, each of which were limited by injury. In 1999-00, he started 14 of his 29 games late in the season before a thigh injury ended his season early, while in 2001-02 he started 12 games before suffering a season ending foot injury. An 18 point, 15 rebound game versus Seton Hall his freshman year was a career high.

Samnick enjoyed a 12 year career in the European professional leagues following his graduation in 2003.
