Tucker Dunn (1954-1955)

A former All-Met guard at Gonzaga, Dunn was a spirited guard for the Georgetown Hoyas in his one season on the varsity.

The shortest member of the team at 5-9, Dunn averaged 7.2 points per game on the 1953-54 freshman squad but saw few opportunities on the varsity, appearing in just three games and scoring just seven points on the season. He did not return to the team in 1955-56 but graduated with his class in 1957.

In his 2022 obituary, it read: "Tucker's professional career, spanned assignments as a Special Agent in the Criminal Division of the FBI, assigned to Washington Headquarters and the Norfolk, VA Field Office. He then held a position in the Department of State, where he served in the Office of the Inspector General and, in the early 1970s oversaw Government Relations for the British Virgin Islands. Subsequently, he provided legal counsel to The Department of Interior and The Atomic Energy Commission. In 1987, he was General Counsel to The Commodity Futures Trading Commission."

"A basketball teammate of his at Georgetown University, Sam Seymour, remembers that "Tucker had a deadly two-handed set shot and was a great guy in every respect."
