A two sport athlete from New York, Tommy Doyle was a reserve guard for three seasons on the basketball roster, but his senior year was cut short when Doyle and four other teammates were suspended for academics midway through the season. Doyle finished his studies in 1954, and enjoyed a long career in business, retiring in 2009.
