Tre Campbell (2014-2017)

Injuries hampered what could have been a sterling career for Tre Campbell, once seen as the heir to Markel Starks and Chris Wright as hometown point guards for the Georgetown Hoyas.

A second team All-Met selection, Campbell signed with Georgetown over multiple offers including Maryland and Pitt. His freshman year adjustments took time, backing up Jabril Trawick and shooting just 37 percent that season, with three double figure scoring games. Following an early season illness that kept him out of the lineup, Campbell started 20 games for the Hoyas with a career high 21 in an upset of #19 Xavier.

After injuries in the summer of 2016, Campbell moved back to the bench. He saw action in 21 games, with a season high of 13 points, but was injured Feb. 6, 2017 in a team bus accident. He missed the next four games and scored only two points the remainder of the season.

As a result of ongoing injuries from that incident, Tre Campbell did not return to the team in 2017-18, though he finished his education at Georgetown and played a fifth year at South Carolina.
