Ray Ohlmuller (1958-1961)

A backup forward for three seasons, Ray Ohlmuller could put together some fine games for the Hoyas, none more so than on February 24, 1960.

Following injury, Ohlmuller only saw action in seven games in the second half of his junior season. One game after earning his first career start and scoring 16 points in a loss to Navy, Ohlmuller scored 23 points and 26 rebounds in a 105-80 win over Scranton. As rebounds go, it's only been matched twice in the last 60 years, by Charlie Adrion in 1968 and Dikembe Mutombo in 1991. For the season, he finished with a 10.1 points per game average, fourth best on the team.

Ohlmuller returned to a backup role as a senior, averaging 6.7 points with a season high 12 against Boston College.

Following Georgetown, Ohlmuller earned law degrees from Fordham and NYU and served in private and corporate practice in the New York area.
