Little is known about Joe Lonchak, a guard from Norwalk, CT that played one year at Georgetown as a reserve guard.

Lonchak (misspelled as "Longshak" in prior references) was a well known athlete in the Norwalk area and was a 1977 recipient of that city's Old Timers Athletic Association honors. Twenty years later, Joe Lonchak died at 100, the first centenarian among the men's basketball alumni community.
