Johnny Jones (1987-1990)

A transfer from the University of the District of Columbia, Johnny Jones saw limited action in three seasons with the Hoyas.

As a sophomore, Jones started with a promise, scoring 35 points in his first four games, but just 10 points in the remaining 18 games of action that season. He scored 17 points each for his two remaining seasons, most in early season action.

Jones graduated from the College in 1989 and played in four games as a graduate student. He quit the team in January 1990 "to pursue career opportunities", per a Georgetown release, and did not complete his post-graduate studies.

He is currently a high school teacher in Broward County, FL.
