Dale Smith (1954-1957)

A reserve forward over his three seasons at Georgetown, Dale Smith averaged 7.9 points and 7.8 rebounds a game, a credit to an underrated rebounder of just 6-4 and 180 pounds.

Smith shares the school record for the most rebounds in a single game, pulling down 29 boards in a Jan. 28, 1955 game versus Spring Hill (AL).

Following Georgetown, Smith played two seasons in the Philadelphia Phillies' minor league organization.
