Dick Razzetti (1957-1959)

A two sport letterman at the Hilltop, Dick Razzetti was described as an "able rebounder" that added defensive strength as a reserve guard for two seasons from 1957 through 1959. Razzetti played in just ten games and one as a junior for basketball, but was better known as being one of the mainstays of the Georgetown tennis team, finishing 17-1 over his three year college career. In 1960, he outpointed basketball's Brian Sheehan to win WGTB's "Athlete of The Year" contest.

According to his 2014 obituary, Razzetti competed in the U.S. Open in 1959 and was ranked nationally by the United States Tennis Association. Outside of sports, Razzetti was a partner at the investment firm of Kidder Peabody and served as a senior Vice President at Paine Webber UBS Securities.
