Following injuries which limited him to just 44 minutes on the court as a freshman, Colin Holloway started 20 games for the Hoyas as a sophomore, averaging 9.2 points per game on 45 percent shooting, and providing a more defensive-minded approach versus the inconsistency from Kaiden Rice. He led the Hoyas in scoring in four games, including a career high 25 versus Villanova on Jan. 22.

To some surprise, Holloway announced a transfer in April 2022, and transferred to Tulane with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
