Bob Knuppel (1966-1967)

Bob Knuppel played only one year on the basketball team, with just three games in the stat sheet. But basketball wasn't the sum of his activities.

A pre-med, active in lacrosse and student government, Knuppel's hard work over his four years at Georgetown was the prelude to a busy career to follow. Knuppel earned his MD from Rutgers, a MBA from NYU, and and a postgraduate degree at Harvard specializing in the study of neonatal care. He served as a professor at Tufts, Rutgers, and South Florida as well as the chief medical officer or a health care corporation in Florida. His LinkedIn profile noted that Knuppel has co-authored three textbooks and 144 published articles.
