Little is known about the career of 6-7 Bill Johnston, who played one season for the Hoyas.

Johnston arrived at Georgetown after his freshman year at Washington State in 1956-57 and two years in the U.S. Army. He sat out the 1959-60 season as a transfer, and in 1960-61, saw action in only one game, versus Fordham. He did not return for the 1961-62 season and is not listed in the University's alumni records.
